ProMonitoring™ Activation
You can now choose when your patients will receive their first communications regarding ProMonitoring™. At checkout for a case, you may select one of the following options:
- Automatically activate the patient's account when the aligner kit is delivered
- Manually activate by clicking the "Start monitoring" button on the patient detail page
If the automatic option is selected, once a patient's aligner kit shows delivered in our system, an app activation email will be sent to the patient.
- If there is any delay here, you can also manually mark the aligner kit as delivered in your provider portal and then click the neighboring button to activate the patient's Promonitoring account.
If the manual option is selected, you will need to start the monitoring by clicking the "start monitoring" button before a patient will receive any information (shown below):
The ProMonitoring™ activation email expires after 30 days and is suitable for one-time use only. Although patient's email addresses can be updated in the ProMonitoring™ platform, they will need to be changed internally by our support team, or the update will revert during the daily sync with our backend systems.

You can navigate to your patient's page and click the 'resend activation email' button (shown below).

Log into your ProMonitoring™ portal, choose the patient tab, search for the patient, and click 'New Action.'
Click the 'Send app activation code' option in the pop-up.
* Note: If a patient is planning to travel abroad, they will need to download and log in to the app prior to their departure.
