Orthodontist video calls are an added benefit we offer our providers to support you at any stage of your patient’s treatment. Here are some examples of how a CandidPro Orthodontist can help you:

Pretreatment
- Review your patient’s treatment plan
- Discuss your concerns about the plan or any changes you would like to have made
- Discuss additional supplies you will need and make recommendations

Book a Video Call
Feel free to schedule a call to discuss a treatment plan before approving as well as during treatment if any concerns arise. You can schedule a video call with any of our Orthodontists by clicking on the links below:
To book with a specific doctor:
CandidPro Treatment Plans are reviewed by our team of US licensed Orthodontists before they are sent to Providers for approval. Refer to Orthodontist Biographies to get to know them.

Video Call Reminders
When booking a video call, please provide a mobile number or a number that can receive text messages. We will send reminder emails and text messages before your video calll at the following times:
- 24 Hours - Email Reminder
- 2 Hour - Email Reminder
- 30 Minutes - Text Message Reminder
Joining the Video Call
What You'll Need
- A computer, tablet, or smartphone with a camera and microphone
- Stable internet connection
- A quiet, well-lit space
- Your video call invitation email. Meetings are conducted via Google Meet
Step 1: Find Your Invitation
Look for an email invitation with the subject line containing "Ortho Call." This email contains your unique join link.
Step 2: Join at Your Scheduled Time
- Click the “Join with Google Meet” link in your invitation email.
- Allow your browser to access your camera and microphone when prompted
- Before joining the call, Google Meet will show a preview of your video
- Verify you can see yourself and that your audio is detected
- Click "Join Now"
- If you join a few minutes early, you may be placed in a waiting room. If so, stay on the call— you will be admitted into the room once they have joined
During the Call
- Orthodontist video calls are scheduled for 20 minutes each. We ask that you join the meeting on time or as soon as possible. Orthodontists are often booked with back-to-back meetings and can not stay longer.
- During the call, you will be joined by the Orthodontist along with a dedicated member of the support team, who can answer any support-related questions
- Your Account Executive (AE) may also join the call if they are available.
- Each call is recorded for quality and notation purposes. Call recordings cannot be shared outside the company; however, your AE can view them with you at any time.
After the Call
Following your video call:
- You will receive a summary email with what was discussed
- Any additional follow-up, such as a list of supplies or articles to read, will be sent separately from the summary.
Rescheduling or Missing Your Video Call
Need to Reschedule?
We understand that things happen in a busy dental office! If you can't make your scheduled video call:
- Contact CandidPro Support as soon as possible
- Provide your name and the date/time of your meeting, and the Orthodontist you were scheduled to meet with.
- We’ll help you get rescheduled for a new day and time to meet and send you a new invitation with the meeting date and time
What If I Missed My Video Call?
If you missed your scheduled video call:
- Don't worry—we can reschedule
- Contact CandidPro Support to set up a new appointment
- Check your email for any messages from us about rescheduling
Common Questions
Will I be charged for a missed video call?
There is no fee for missing a video call. Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Can patients attend the video call?
No, these video calls are for providers and dental staff only. We ask that patients outside of the practice not attend these meetings.
Can I discuss more than 1 patient’s treatment plan?
Yes! If you have more than two patients to discuss who are assigned to the same orthodontist, please book 2 back-to-back appointment slots to ensure adequate time. Please provide all patient ID numbers you would like to discuss when prompted on the booking form.

For the best experience, use one of these browsers:
- Google Chrome (recommended)
- Safari
- Microsoft Edge
- Firefox
Note: Internet Explorer is not supported.
Internet Connection
- Minimum: 1.5 Mbps upload and download speed
- Recommended: 3+ Mbps for HD video quality
Camera and Microphone
- Built-in laptop cameras and microphones work well
- External webcams are also supported
- Ensure your device's camera and microphone are not blocked or disabled
Troubleshooting Common Issues

Can't find your invitation email?
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Search your email for "Invitation" or "Ortho Call"

Contact support, and we can resend the invitation

Camera or microphone not working?
- Make sure you clicked "Allow" when your browser asked for permissions
- Try closing and reopening your browser
- Check that no other app is using your camera

"Camera not found" error
- Close other apps that might be using your camera (Zoom, FaceTime, etc.)

Check browser permissions: Settings > Privacy > Camera

"Microphone not found" error
- Check that your microphone isn't muted at the system level

Check browser permissions: Settings > Privacy > Microphone

Black screen or frozen video
- Refresh the page
- Try a different browser
- Restart your device
