Treatment Preferences

All CandidPro providers have the ability to set default preferences to some of the treatment goals. This will help reduce the number of questions you have to answer each time that you submit a case. 

You can set your default responses to:

  • The treatment protocol you prefer to use:

    • CandidPro Protocol

    • Airway-friendly Protocol

  • Treatment preferences:

    • Whether or not you'd like for us to use attachments, if necessary.

    • Whether or not you'd like for us to use IPR, if necessary.

    • Whether or not you'd like for us to use bite ramps, if necessary

  • Scanning method preferences:

    • Choose from: 

      • Upload STL files

      • Mail PVS impressions

      • Sync your scanner

  • Aligner wear schedule

    • Choose either: 

      • 7-day wear schedule

      • 14-day wear schedule

  • ProMonitoring patient app activation

    • Choose either:  

      • Automatically activate the patient’s account when the aligner kit is delivered

      • Manually activate by clicking the “Start monitoring” button on the patient detail page

How do I set up my treatment preferences?

When you click the account drop down in the top right hand corner of the portal, you'll notice a tab called "Preferences". Here you can select your default preferences.

What happens once I set up treatment preferences?

Once you've selected your default responses, these answers will be auto selected when creating a new case. Please note that if you wish to change the responses to a different option, you will still be able to do so both in your account preferences OR when creating a new case. Below is an overview to show you how the experience works.
